Shanghai You Garden opened our doors in 2016 right in the middle of lively Flushing, New York City. Our Chefs have been serving authentic Shanghainese food for many years. Our extensive menu offers an array of variety for everyone whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our Xiao Long Bao’s (Soup Dumplings) are what we are known for but we are proud to serve a full selection of authentic Shanghainese dishes to all of NYC. Our mission is to bring friends and family together as they all peer in together as the bamboo steamer opens, revealing the beginning of their Shanghainese dining adventure at Shanghai You Garden.

Service was very attractive but dim sum was a little limited and and the greasy side, but it is pretty decent. Usually a wait for a table so they just be doing something right. Free dumplings with an order over $20, I think. A friend I took loved it.

They have the best soupy dumplings and they recently expanded their menu. I've tried a bunch of stuff on their menu and I have never been disappointed. I would definitely suggest you guys trying this place out!

Lots of options for dim sum & generous servings. The long wait times you may experience are definitely worth it.

Questions & Answers

Metered street parking is limited. Parking lots abound but rates vary, so keep your eyes open for a good deal. Traffic is pretty bad most the time, so plan your time accordingly. I usually take the time to find street parking.
